Porterville College sophomore guard Donald Lee was the Central Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball for this past week for his performance in PC’s 78-75 win at Reedley College.
It’s the second time in three weeks that Lee has received the honor. On Saturday, Lee made 7-of-10 three-pointers on his way to scoring a game-high 27 points in the win over Reedley. Lee hit five threes on his way to scoring 21 points in the first half, including three straight that helped give Porterville a 44-38 lead late in the half.
PC finds itself in a tight race for second in the CVC and a state playoff berth. Fresno City leads at 5-0 and is followed by College of the Sequoias (4-2), PC (3-2), Columbia (3-2) and West Hills (2-3).
