Locals named to Bee all-star teams

Porterville High’s Matlyn Morris and Monache’s Jorge Ceballos and Matt Lalanne were all recognized on the Fresno Bee’s Central Section All-Star teams for the fall sports season.

Morris, the reigning two-time East Yosemite League most valuable player in girls water polo, was named to the Bee’s all-Central Section first team in girls water polo.

Ceballos, who finished fourth in Division II at the Valley Cross Country Championships and helped lead Monache to its first EYL title since 1976, was named to the Bee’s all-Central Section second team. Lalanne was an honorable mention choice to the Bee’s all-Central Section boys water polo team.
