Sanders-Pascoe update

New York Giants starting tight end Jake Ballard said he expects to be able to play on Sunday’s NFL playoff football game when the New York Giants host the Atlanta Falcons.
The game will have Bear Pascoe, a 2004 Granite Hills graduate, and the Giants going against James Sanders, a 2001 Monache graduate, and the Falcons going against each other. The game will be televised at 10 a.m. on FOX.
For the second straight day on Thursday, Ballard saw limited time at practice as he’s recovering from a knee injury.
“I took a lot more reps, running good, and it’s not perfect but it felt good enough to go and I think I’ll be all right,” said Ballard about his knee.
He added about his knee: “It shouldn’t keep me out this week.”
If Ballard plays, that means that Pascoe will likely return to his role of shifting between tight end and fullback.
Meanwhile, starting Falcons safety William Moore is recovering from a groin injury and saw limited action at practice on Thursday. If Moore can’t go, he would be replaced by Sanders.
