Marauders' season ends in first round

The 11th-seeded Marauders joined three other Orange Belt teams on the losing end of playoff games Tuesday night with a 3-1 loss to Edison (Fresno) .
Monache won the second game 25-17, but that was sandwiched by three consistent losses: (25-16, 25-17, 25-16) in the first round of the Division II playoffs.
Senior Chandra Jones led the Marauders with 11 kills and two aces while getting six digs and a block on defense.
Alli Clem smashed seven kills and had three blocks while Andri Rollans had three kills and five digs.
Madison “Mad Dog” Lawley tallied five kills and led the team with four blocks with setter Beth Reed getting two aces and 19 assists.
Senior libero Erica Richardson also contributed two aces.
