Velasquez gets 2nd straight 19-kill match in sweep

Porterville College continued on its rivalry victory with a 3-0 sweep of Columbia College, Friday night.

PC won each game going away, 25-9, 25-15, 25-17.

Sophomore middle blocker Olga Velasquez had her second straight 19-kill match while getting two blocks and an ace as well. 

Freshman outside hitter Evan Dillon also had a double-digit kill total (10) while tallying 11 digs as well. Sophomore setter Laura Lopez had a kill, 31 assists and nine digs as well.

PC hosts Taft in its regular-season finale at 7 p.m., Wednesday night.
