Series Trophies here on Monday

San Francisco Giants fans will have a chance to see up close the 2010 and 2012 World Series Trophies during a viewing to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at the Porterville College gym.

The Giants are the current 2012 World Champions and also won the 2010 World Series. The City of Porterville Junior Giants Program was selected as a host site on the tour for the viewing of the World Series Trophies.

The event is free. A suggested donation of $2 will be taken, with all the proceeds going to the City of Porterville’s Junior Giants Program. Food and beverages will be available for sale during the event. Those attending the event will be directed to park in the Jamison Stadium parking lot. Parking for the event is also free.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the event. A line will begin near the gym and will extend toward the tennis courts. Fans will have a chance to have their photo taken with the trophies and will also have a chance to at least take photos of the trophies while they are in line up to a certain point.
