Boys: Tulare Western 120, Monache 15
On the boys side, the Mustangs dominated the meet, ceding only 15 points to the Marauders (0-2 EYL).
Miler Michael Taylor took second place in the 1600 (4:51) and Danilo Lara tossed the discus 111 feet, 6 inches, which was also good enough for second.
Blake Otto rounded out the second places with a 35-foot, 9-inch triple jump.
Sprinter Ulyses Serna finished third in the 200-meter dash in 24.11 seconds and 100 (11.89).
Monache hits the track next at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, in Modesto.
