Ramirez shoots 45, Roche, Ragan birdie in win

Monache No. 1 golfer Jackie Ramirez was one of two Marauders to shoot under 50 in their 258-372 comfort cruise over Delano, Tuesday, at River Island Country Club.

Ramirez was the meet’s medalist, shooting a 45 with sophomore No. 2 player Devon Meridith carding a 49.

Senior Daley Roche birdied hole No. 1 while non-lineup performer Emily Ragan, who just started playing golf earlier this fall, birdied hole No. 9.

Roche shot a 52 with Kim Leyva (56), Quincy Randhawa (56) and Zoey Randhawa (61) rounding out the Marauder lineup.

Delano’s top golfer was Anna Martinez (71).

Monache is now 8-1 and travels to Tulare to take on undefeated Tulare Western, Thursday.
