Panthers in mid-season form

Coriann Snyder, Kyla Hill and the Panthers’ girls water polo team were in midseason form on their first night.

Porterville crushed Hanford 20-5 with Hill and Snyder netting five goals apiece.

Snyder also dished out three assists and had three steals while Hill tallied four assists.

Caitlyn Hill scored twice with Linna Lasure getting two shots past the goalie and set up three teammates’ goals.

Senior goalie Raven Kapphahn stopped 14 shots while Hailey Kavern blocked two and scored once. Freshman Marnie Kavern also scored twice and had an assist.
