The Monache boys’ water polo team got the gift of an extra home game as there were problems with Dinuba’s pool, Wednesday night, and they took advantage of it.
The Marauders (7-8, 4-0 EYL) edged the Emperors 9-7 behind senior goalie Evan Thomas’ 15 saves and Colton Conway’s four goals.
Matt Lalanne chipped in two goals, three steals and an assist while hole set David Jacobs also sent two shots into the net.
Scott Rodat also added a goal.
The Marauders also nipped Tulare Western 9-8 in overtime Monday night.
