Marauders blast Tulare Western out of water

Perhaps until its rematch against Porterville later this season, Monache girls water polo is firmly entrenching itself as the EYL's second-best squad.

The Marauders got a balanced contribution from across the roster as they handed Tulare Western a sound beating, 15-6, Wednesday night.

Amanda Kaye, Elizabeth Jacobs and Bailey Likewise scored three goals apiece. Jacobs scored all of three of her season-high goals in the fourth quarter.

Jessica Gutierrez fired in two goals while Darlin Hornsby, Kelly Fornier and Mary Crocker tossed in one apiece.

Monache (14-5, 8-1 EYL) visits Dinuba next Monday.
