Porterville girls split at meet

Porterville girls’ varsity cross country split its meet on Wednesday, beating Delano (27-29) while losing to the Valley’s second-ranked Tulare Union. The varsity boys lost to both squads.

The Panthers' frosh-soph team, however, surprised both the Tigers and Redskins with a victory.

The Panthers also medaled nine of the 17 runners who competed in the Woodlake Tournament over the weekend.
